Following chronologically content of the media one can easily conclude how screen media have both reflected and shaped the public sphere. Gordon B. In a newborn blurry combination of circumstances, Government of the U.S. is not obliged anymore to inform its citizens about an eventually important discovery as happened in Kubrick’s 2001: Space Odyssey. Pakula’s Deep Throat has spoken out and solved one glitch. But everything continued to run its course. It all led to a secretive and malicious Government of 80s that cared little for its military personnel whom Rambo belonged to.
In 90s TV FOX introduces a new level of conspiracy in X-Files. Two hyper capable FBI detectives are the only who can get beyond supernatural and extraterrestrial. Silent indications for global and interplanetary conspiracy are shifted to a new millennium. War on terrorism has pulled all strings focusing them on the events of September 11, 2001. We are still in a status quo conspiracy.
